Summary

Use the process pay audit log to troubleshoot unsuccessful processing.

Audit log message

After pay processing, a message box appears that contains the following information:

  • Whether pay processing was successful or unsuccessful
  • Number of error messages in the log
  • Number of warning messages in the log
  • Yes/No buttons to view the log.

Advanced Audit Log Viewer

The audit log window contains an “Advanced Audit Log Viewer” option that allows you to to quickly and easily identify errors and warnings in the pay.

  • Error and warnings line are clearly indicated in the log.
  • All non-standard messages are grouped into the following categories and displayed at the lower part of the window:
    • Errors
    • Warnings (including leave warnings and custom warnings).
  • The lower part of the window also contains buttons that allow you to display only warnings or error messages. By default, all messages are shown.
  • You can leave the Advanced Audit Log Viewer open, return to PayGlobal, close the Audit Log Viewer, and then refer to the errors and warnings when you troubleshoot these problems in PayGlobal.

    Note: Although you can print from the Advanced Audit Log Viewer, it uses the Windows default printer functionality. As a result, unexpected results can occur on Citrix, virtual or hosted environments, and Lineflow or dotmatrix printers.
