Payroll | Irregular Payments | Back Pays | Transactions tab
Summary |
The preparation of back pay transactions involves the process of selecting historical allowance transactions for back pay assessment. PayGlobal calculates a proposed back pay amount based on changes in the rates hierarchy that have occurred since the original transaction was paid. After preparation you are able view these proposed back pay transactions in a grid and also with more detail individually, and are able to edit the proposed back pay amount if you wish. Note: This grid behaves slightly differently from other other grids in PayGlobal because of the extra requirements put on it by the back pay process. |
Limited load |
If there are more than 20,000 back pay transactions created for a single back pay, then only the first 20,000 are loaded by default for performance reasons. Single employees outside the first 20,000 can be selected and loaded by entering in their employee code. Alternatively if all the transactions for the back pay are required to be viewed at once, there is a Load All link at the top of the grid that will load all transactions, and may take some time depending on how many transactions there are in total. |
Filtering |
At the very right of each column header there is a small filter icon. Pressing this opens a small window that allows you to select from a list of possible values to filter on. An “All” and “Custom” filter option is also available. |
Grouping |
Dragging a column header into the space labelled “Drag a column header here to group by that column” will allow grouping of transactions. Multiple nested groups can be created by dragging more columns. |
