The Hazards Actions tab page records the measures required to prevent and correct an injury occurring as a result of exposure to a particular Hazard.

Preventative Action:

Enter a brief description of those actions required to prevent exposure to the hazard. These would be specific actions to ensure that the hazard does not present a problem. For example, 'Ensure power sockets available for all power plug needs'.

Corrective Action:

Enter a brief description of actions required to correct a situation where exposure to a hazard has occurred. These would be specific actions to ensure that the hazard does not present a problem again. For example, 'Initially, tape the power lead/cable to the floor so that it cannot trip anybody up. Ultimately, arrange for an electrician to put in another power socket point in the vicinity of the printer'.
