Summary

The Details tab records general information about a Position. Remember that these records are Position-specific, not employee-specific, and will apply to all employees who are attached to this Position.

Fields

Manager:

The employee responsible for staff who hold this Position.

Budgeted cost per FTE:

The budgeted cost in dollars for this Position in terms of the full-time equivalent (FTE) cost. This is useful where several people hold the same Position in a part- time capacity.

Classification:

Places the Position into a Classification grouping such as Sales and Marketing or Product Development.

Group:

Further defines the Position Classification. For example, a Classification of Sales and Marketing could have groups according to the product that employees sell e.g. grocery or wet goods.

Contract:

Links a contract to a Position. For example, all bus drivers could belong to the same employment contract.
