Summary

The Position Classifications entity classifies Positions into categories for reporting purposes.

Use the Levels field in the Details tab to assign a level of importance to a Position Classification.

Examples

For example, an organisation may choose to classify their jobs on the basis of a traditional hierarchy:

  • Executive
  • Management
  • Supervision
  • Operations

Similarly, another organisation may choose to base their classification structure on the basis of:

  • Management
  • Professional
  • Support
  • Trades
