Summary

The fields on this tab page are optional. They are used primarily for reporting the costs of Projects to an organisation. Complete them to link a Project with costing details.

Cost Centre:

Select a Cost Centre here to include a Project in Cost Centre reporting. If the Cost Centre selected here has a General ledger code attached to it, costs relating to this Project will export to the General Ledger system.

Job:

Projects can be broken down into various Jobs. Use this field to report on the proportion of time spent on each Job in a Project.

Award:

A Project may be only relevant to one Award.

Rate:

To override the default rate.

Rate amount:

A value that will override the default rate set for Tasks within a Task Type.

Factor:

The Factor is a multiplier that when is combined with the Rate. A standard Factor where the Rate remains the same is 1.0000.
