The A. Allowance allowance type is used for taxable or non-taxable allowances that are paid to an employee. These can be Paying or Non-Paying for example:

• Shift allowance
• Kilometre allowance
• Annual leave on-cost transactions
• Counters.

Impact

No direct impact on employee fields apart from:

• Accumulators
• Annual leave if the field Include in annual leave = 'Yes' on the Details (iii) tab page of the allowance.
