Summary

The Backpay Allowances menu lists the allowances that are currently in your database.

Not all allowances are used in the Backpay calculation. For example, Ordinary Hours may be the only allowance that has increased and requiring a Backpay calculation. This screen enables you to select only the allowances that are eligible for a Backpay increase.

Procedure

Tag those allowances that will be included in the Backpay calculation for the periods that were specified in the Backpay Welcome Screen.

Click the Next button to reach the Employees screen of the Backpay Wizard.

Note: If the Use allowance field in the backpay wizard has "Tax override type" = Bonus or Lump Sum in Arrears, PayGlobal displays the following message in the audit log:
"As an allowance with a tax override has been used the tax allowance code specified on the Details tab will not be transferred into the resulting pay."
