Reasons

The following issues could prevent you from closing a pay successfully:

• You made changes to a pay and then tried to close it without reprocessing it first.
• Your serial number is invalid.
• A previous crash was detected.
• The master file and the current transaction file do not balance.
• PayGlobal was unable to generate a new billing sequence (if you use metering).

Solutions

• Check the messages in the close pay audit log.
• Correct the issues that prevented the pay from closing.
