Applicable to New Zealand databases only.

This report is used to help calculate the rates defined by the New Zealand Holidays Act 2003, as follows:

  • Relevant Daily Pay (hours or days) – 4 week rule
  • Ordinary Pay (hours or days) – 4 week rule
  • Average Earning (hours or days) – 52 week rule

To manually calculate an employee's rate the calculation formula is always:

Total earnings / Total hours or days

Relevant Daily Pay and Ordinary Pay would be run for the last 4 weeks

Average Earnings would be run for the last 12 months / 52 weeks.
