Reports | Report Groups | PGPRTRAN | PGPRTRAN002 - Calculation Exception Report
Summary |
Highlighting potential errors in an open pay run will prevent problems later on. Use this report to identify employees that exceed the boundaries set in this report. For example, you can set boundaries for average payments of Ordinary, Overtime, Holiday or Sick Pay. Employees that have values outside these boundaries will be identified when this report is run. You should run this report on processed pays rather than closed pays. The main report columns display values for the current pay, but the Period column displays historical data from the last closed pay so you can compare current values with historical values. However, if you run the report on a closed pay sequence, then the values will be the same. |
Pay sequences |
You should run this report on processed pays rather than closed pays. The main report columns display values for the current pay, but the Period column displays historical data from the last closed pay so you can compare current values with historical values. However, if you run the report on a closed pay sequence, then the values will be the same. |
Setting boundaries |
Use the Query tab page found in Edit Report Settings from the right-click menu to set the criteria that you want to identify employees by. For example, you could run a query stating: 'Virtual calculation exceptions Hp dollars is greater than 0 or Virtual calculation exceptions.Ordinary hours is greater than 65 or Virtualcalculationexceptions.Gross is greater than 1000' This report would identify any employees outside the following limits: Any employee with holiday pay dollars OR Any employee with more than 65 Ordinary Hours OR Any employee with a gross pay of more than $1000. As these are "OR" statements, only one condition needs to be true for an employee to be identified in this report. |
