Summary

There are two Rept folders in your company data folder:

• The main Rept folder in the application folder contains the report definitions originally imported as part of installing or upgrading PayGlobal.
• The second Rept folder in the company data folder contains edited report definitions.

What happens?

When you run a report, PayGlobal checks the company data Rept folder for the report definition. If it does not find that definition, PayGlobal uses the original definition in the application Rept folder.

Two types of report

The Rept folder contains two types of report:

• Designer reports that you can edit
• Hard coded reports that you cannot edit.

If you right-click a designer report and then select Edit Report Definition, PayGlobal copies the designer report into the Company Data folder. The original report remains in the application folder. PayGlobal uses your edited version until you delete it.
