Requirements - Requirements

Rostering | Requirements | Requirements

Summary

A Requirement usually defines:

  • A shift.
  • A position.
  • The number of employees required.

 You can also define:

  • Additional costing.
  • Override fields.
  • An effective date range for the requirement.

 Add requirements to:

  • A requirement tour on the Requirement Tours - Requirements tab.

Requirements are attached to a requirement tour and they repeat in a cycle. Requirement tours are usually linked to a location, such as a site or store.

  • A shift on an employee’s tour.

Requirements are specific to a day for a specific shift. If the shifts in a tour vary, for example two days and three nights, specify the requirement for each shift. If every day in a tour relates to the same requirement, specify the requirement on the employee tour.

Note: PayGlobal needs to link a roster timeband to a valid requirement tour and requirement combination. So, the tour is normally linked to a requirement tour and the shifts in that tour are linked to requirements in the requirement tour.
