Tour Shifts - Details

Rostering | Tours | Shifts tab | Add or Edit | Details tab

Summary

When you add a Tours record, you enter a Duration value. When you save the record, the appropriate number of Tour Shifts records are automatically created on the Shifts tab.

Fields
Day number:

Read-only field. This value is automatically generated after you enter a Duration and save the Tours record.

Shift:

Shift for this day.

Reason:

Reasons are generally used to explain a Shift Override or Timeband override.

Break:

If you specify a break, it will override employee default breaks specified on their Rostering | Details tab.

Requirement:

A requirement usually defines a shift, a position, and the number of employees required. Requirements are attached to a requirement tour to create Requirement Tour Requirements that repeat in a cycle.

Requirement Tour:

Requirement tours describe a regular pattern of employees required on a roster. For example, Days 1-5 require two nightfill attendants, Days 6-7 require one nightfill attendant. Nightfill attendants work 2100-0600 each night.
