Summary

External validation validates a field against an external database.

Use this tab page to identify the field that you want to validate when using an external connection.

Fields

External Connection Code:

Select from the pick list. You need to re-enter the setup details in the External Connection entity before you use an external connection code as PayGlobal does not save the UDL file for security reasons.

Table name:

Select the table to be validated from the combo box.

Field name:

Select the field name that triggers the validation from the combo box.

Parent table name:

Automatically generated by PayGlobal.

Update parent table:

Select 'Yes' or 'No'.

Update existing parent records:

Select 'Yes' or 'No'.
