Summary

The Parent tab controls the hierarchy of the Organisational Chart.

Parent Code:

The employee record that will appear immediately above the current employee on the Organisational Chart.

When you select a Parent Code for an employee record, the current record then appears in the Children section of the record selected in the Parent Code field.
