Employees - Exit Interview

Employees | HR | Appointments | Exit Interview tab

Summary

An employee may complete an Exit Interview when they cease their employment with the company.

This tab page:

  • Records the reason that an employee is leaving the company (Termination Reason)
  • Records the Exit Questionnaire used for the Exit Interview

Note: If you change a questionnaire on this tab page, then any answers that have already been entered into PayGlobal will be lost.

  • Records the answers that the terminating employee gave for the Exit Questionnaire (using the Answer Wizard).

Answer Wizard

When you get the hard copy of a completed exit questionnaire from an employee, you can record the answers to the questions using the Answer Wizard.

To start the Answer Wizard, click the Answer Wizard button.

Each screen in the Answer Wizard contains a question. To create an exit interview and it's associated questions, see Setting up Exit Interviews.

Note:  PayGlobal can only store the answers for one Exit Questionnaire record. If you change the Exit Questionnaire code, then you must save the record to enable the Answer Wizard button.

Important - Rating Scales: Questions in an exit questionnaire can use a rating scale of 1 - 5 to rate an employee's answers.
You can change the text that appears in the rating scale using the Exit Questionnaire Scale Descriptions command.
Changes that you make may have an adverse effect on exit questionnaire answers that have already been recorded in PayGlobal. When you change a scale description, existing answers are not updated to reflect the new scale. For example, if you change the description of rating 1 from 'Strongly disagree' to 'Always', then the interpretation of existing answers is the opposite to what they should be.
