Summary

The Text tab in Employee Loans contains only one field. You can use this field to enter any details you wish to have displayed on the employee’s loan transaction. You can enter a maximum of 30 characters.

On Pay Open, the CurrentDeduction table's Text field is populated from the new Loans Text field for both Interest and Principal components. However, if a loan is created from a permanent transaction, the permanent transaction's Text field is used rather than the Employee Loans Text field.

When you create a manual loan transaction in Transaction View, PayGlobal pulls the Employee Loans Text field into the transaction Text field.

Where an employee has multiple loans with the same deduction code, if you select a new loan PayGlobal repopulates the Text field with the details from the Employee Loans Text field.
