Summary

Use Payroll Notes to store notes or documents relating to an employee. For example, storing security photographs.

The Details tab records a date, description, severity and source for the employee notes as well as an indicator to show if further actions are required to address the note. You need to perform an additional Add or Edit record to reach this tab page.

PayGlobal automatically creates a system payroll note called the "AL Reconciliation" in the employee's Annual Leave year ends (aka AL Rollover process).

For Australian databases:

When an employee is terminated for non ETPs, a payroll note will be created on Pay Close. This note will contain a "Non-ETP Outstanding Leave breakdown" for the employee who received a termination allowance in the closed pay.

The note will give a breakdown of the employees Outstanding Leave as at their termination date for Annual Leave, Leave Loading and Long Service Leave. It will also detail the amounts of Lump A, Lump B and Unused Leave remaining that was reported to the ATO.

Workforce Managed Employees:

When an employee is onboarded or updated using Workforce Management, payroll notes will be created to indicate any additional work that needs to be completed by the Payroll Administrator.

Switching the either the employee's Is onboarding to PayGlobal status from Yes to No or else the Has pending update status from Yes to No will indicate if any Workforce Management notes are unactioned and will give the option to action all outstanding Workforce Managements notes.
