Why has no tax been calculated for an employee?
A related pay exists where the employee has already paid the total amount of tax applicable to the pay period.
The pay contains a tax override transaction with settings generating zero tax
The pay period frequency is set to Variable....this frequency will not calculate tax for any tax code. Calculating tax for this frequency requires either, permanent tax override transaction as well as manual checks and adjustments on pay-by-pay basis if the earnings are also variable or otherwise just on an annual basis.
