Report Designer - Modelling an Existing Report

Summary

Use the following procedure to model an existing report. Make sure that you use a coding structure that differentiates your report from the standard PayGlobal reports.

Exercise 1

In this exercise, you will model the PGPRLEAV001 - Annual Leave Accrued Units report.

  1. Log on to PayGlobal.
  2. Navigate to Reports | Report Groups.
  3. Double-click PGPRLEAV to open the Leave Reports report group.
  4. The View Report Groups window appears.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Double-click the PGPRLEAV001 - Annual Leave Accrued Units report.

    The View Report Group Reports window appears.

  7. Click Edit.
  8. Click Model this Report Definition.

    The Create New Report Definition window appears:

  9. Use the image above to type a Code and Description for the new report definition.

    Important: Always give your report a code and description that will make it easy for other users to find.

  10. Click OK to create the new definition.
  11. Click Save.
