Annual Leave Payout Grid Reports

Summary

This topic explains how to create grid reports to show the value of:

  1. Annual leave payout units that you have paid out to employees.
  2. Annual leave payout liability as dollars and units that you may have to pay out to employees

Payouts Paid
  1. Right-click the Employees grid and click Customise Columns.
  2. In the Available Columns section, double-click the following columns to move them to the Selected Columns section:
    • AL Payout Units Paid ($) - Dollar value of units paid
    • AL Payout Units Taken - Number of units paid.
  3. In the Selected Columns section, double-click any fields that you do not want to display on your report to remove them from the Selected Columns section.
  4. Click OK.
  5. In the Employees grid, double-click the right border of each column header to optimise the column widths.
  6. Right-click the grid and click Generate Grid Report.
  7. On the Report Options | Settings tab:
    1. Click the Show Totals for | Summary checkbox to select it.
    2. Change the Type values to Sum for the payout columns.
  8. Click Run Report.

Payout Liability
  1. Right-click the Employees grid and click Customise Columns.
  2. In the Available Columns section, double-click the following columns to move them to the Selected Columns section:
    • AL Payout Balance ($) - Dollar value of units that could be paid out
    • AL Payout Units Balance - Number of units that could be paid out.
  3. In the Selected Columns section, double-click any fields that you do not want to display on your report to remove them from the Selected Columns section.
  4. Click OK.
  5. In the Employees grid, double-click the right border of each column header to optimise the column widths.
  6. Right-click the grid and click Generate Grid Report.
  7. On the Report Options | Settings tab:
    1. Click the Show Totals for | Summary checkbox to select it.
    2. Change the Type values to Sum for the payout columns.
  8. Click Run Report.
