Grid Report Preview - Headers & Footers

Important: This topic relates to grid reporting from within Transaction View or Daily View only. It does not relate to grid reporting from the main window.

Summary

Use headers and footers to display information about the report, for example the report page numbers, date or user name.

View / Customise Headers and Footers

Headers and footers are visible by default in the Preview window.

To customise headers and footer content:

  1. Click Header and Footer in the Preview ribbon. This will add a Header and a Footer tab at the top of the ribbon.
  2. Select the appropriate tab. Use the buttons in the Parts ribbon to select whether to insert at the left, centre, or right of the header or footer, then select one of the items from the Page Number, Date and Time, or Name ribbons to insert that item into the header or footer.

Another, perhaps easier to work with way of editing header and footer content is via the Page Setup form, which is accessible from all ribbons.
