Styles tab

Check the top-left checkbox to take full control of the styles used in the grid report. That is, the colour, font, and texture applied to each part of the grid. If the box in unchecked, the report will attempt to render the grid as it appears on screen.

If you define a set of custom styles for parts of a grid, you can then save these collectively as a style sheet, that can later be applied to other grid reports.

Preview tab

This tab deals with Notes fields and similar, whose data is shown in a full-width 'row' beneath the report the field belongs to.

Tag Visible to include these fields in the grid report, and Auto Height to fit the height of the row to the amount of text. You can also set a maximum number of lines.
