Hazard Controls

These controls are generally identified as:

• Isolated

  The Hazard is segregated from employees. For example, Poisons are kept in a locked cabinet.

• Minimised

  Employees are provided with protective equipment when working near the Hazard.

• Eliminated

  The Hazard is completely removed.

Where is Hazard Status recorded?

The current status of a Hazard is recorded in the Details tab of the Hazard Work Areas form.
