Diagnosis number:Records whether the remaining fields on this page relate to the first, second or third major injury sustained by an injured person. Values specified by the ACC are:
The ACC record a maximum of three injuries for any one accident. If the person has more than three injuries, then only the three most severe injuries are recorded. ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only. Diagnosis code type:The type of diagnosis code used to record an employee’s injury diagnosis. Copy the code type from the employee's ACC M45 or ACC M46 claim form. Values specified by the ACC are:

ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only. Diagnosis Code:The code for the employee’s injury diagnosis. An NZMC registered doctor will record the diagnosis code on the employee’s ACC M45 or ACC M46 claim form. You need to copy the code recorded on the claim form to this field. If you are an ACC Accredited Employer, then you are responsible for giving ACC valid diagnosis codes. If a diagnosis code is invalid, then the ACC will reject your ACCPP Claims Data file. If you want to validate a diagnosis code when you enter it, then you can get these codes from the ACC or the NZMC and then use PayGlobal’s External Validation command in the Administration folder. ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only. NDIS Level 2 Item 3A:Mandatory if there are other values on this page. The place that the injury occurred. Select the best description of the place where the person was injured. If two or more categories are equally appropriate, then select the one that comes first in the code list. NDIS, Item 3A must be accompanied by a valid NDIS, Item 3B code. You must use the ACC NDS-IS- level 2, item 3A codes specified by the ACC. These codes are set up in NDIS Item 3A Codes. This classification enables you to select a more specific description of the place where the person was injured. For example, if an employee fell down the stairs in an office building, you would select:
NDIS, Item 3B must be accompanied by a valid NDIS, Item 3A code. You must use the ACC NDS-IS- level 2, item 3B codes specified by the ACC. These codes are set up in NDIS Item 3B Codes. ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only. |
