Accident Claims - Details (NZ)

Summary

This tab page records the claims information for a specific Incident. The ACC require you to number claims sequentially for each claim that an employee has.

Fields
Code:

Make sure that your coding convention clearly identifies claims. For example, C09.001.1003:

  • C = Claim
  • 09 = 2009
  • 001 = Annual Claim Counter
  • 1003 = Employee code.
Employee code:

The employee that this claim applies to.

Work related:

Yes/No field that indicates whether the incident is work related.

Acceptance status:

No longer used. Old records may contain historical data that uses this field.

Transfer date:

Date this accident claim was transferred to ACC or your workplace insurer.

Accident claim status code:

The current status of the claim, for example ‘Accepted’ or ‘Pending’.

You must use the codes specified by the ACC. These codes are set up in Accident Claim Status.

Incident:

Enabled when the Employee code field is populated.

Select the employee’s Incident record for this accident claim — whether the claim is ACC related or not. PayGlobal displays Incident records for this employee only.

Estimated cost:

The estimated cost of the accident in dollars. Add the cost of property damage to any human costs, such as time lost or productivity loss.

Rehabilitation plan:

Enabled when the Employee code field is populated.

Select the employee’s Rehabilitation record for this accident claim — whether the claim is ACC related or not. PayGlobal displays Rehabilitation records for this employee only.
