Summary

The Details tab:

  • Associates a particular Appraisal Type with an employee record.
  • Displays the overall performance grading based on information entered in the Business Objectives and Competency Dimensions tab pages.

Fields
Employee:

Use this field to link this employee appraisal to an employee record - Employee Appraisals tab page.

Appraisal Type:

The categories that will be scored when you complete the Business Objectives and Competency Dimensions tab pages are automatically generated when you save an Appraisal Type in this field. Changing Appraisal Type here, clears any scores that have been allocated in the Business Objectives and Competency Dimensions fields.

Appraised by:

If this employee appraisal is being conducted by an employee, their employee code is selected here.

Appraisal date:

The date the appraisal takes place.

Overall score:

This field automatically displays the average score for the scores entered in the Business Objectives and Competency Dimensions tab pages. You can override the automatically generated score using the Override field.

Override:

Change this field to Yes if you want to override the Overall Score.

Performance:

This field populates automatically. It takes the Overall Score and places it in the range defined in the Performance Ranges entity.

Potential:

Use this field to group employees into the category that is applicable on completion of this employee appraisal. This may help you when considering workforce planning.

  • 4. Not ready for consideration.
