Summary

Work Area Positions (WAPs) record the requirements of a Position in relation to a Work Area to clearly define each WAP in an organisation.

WAPs are not employee-specific, but they are used to measure aspects of an employee performance in their daily duties.

This tab page displays employees appointed to this WAP, but you cannot edit this information because WAPs are not employee-specific. The appointments details are copied from the employee’s  Appointments tab page.

Recalculate PIR

When you edit and save a Work Area Positions record, the following Confirm message appears:

"Do you wish to re-calculate the Position In Range for employees with appointments in this Work Area Position?"

• Yes

  PayGlobal uses Remuneration Details settings to recalculate the Position In Range values for employees appointed to this Work Area Position.

• No

  PayGlobal does not recalculate the Position In Range values.
