Employees | HR | Appointments | Appointments tab
Summary |
Every employee must have a Work Area Position so you use Employee Appointments makeup records to attach an employee to a WAP. WAP records contain a contract so when you add an appointment to an employee’s record, you attach the employee to that WAP, and PayGlobal updates the employee’s Contracts tab. An employee's Appointments tab displays all WAP appointments that they have held in your organisation. |

Confirm Messages |
When you add Employee Appointments record and click Save, the following types of Confirm messages appear. "Copy across Work Area Position defaults, (i.e. Work Area, Position, Pay Period, Cost Centre and Appointment Status codes?"
"Copy across Work Area defaults?"
"The Contract for this Work Area Position xxxx is xxxx. Do you wish to copy it across to Employee?"
If you copy the Contract value from the Work Area Positions record to the employee's record, then the following Confirm message appears: "Copy across Contract defaults?"
