Human Resources | Position Management | Establishment | Work Area Positions | Assessments tab
Summary |
Assessment relates to the formula used to determine the points for a category in a Job Evaluation. Points are the value assigned to the category as a result of the Assessment formula (e.g. D2-S). PayGlobal automatically completes the Assessments tab page with records based on the Job Evaluation Method selected in the Job Evaluation tab page. Several Job Evaluation Methods are commonly used in Human Resources practice. For example, Hay or Price Waterhouse Coopers. Each Job Evaluation Method applies a formula to different weighted criteria to calculate a job size. |
Procedure |
Assessment and Points value must be recorded for each Job Evaluation Category that has come through with the Job Evaluation Method selected. The values are generally provided by your consulting firm and are entered in the Work Area Position Assessments form. Click an additional Add or Edit to reach this form. Always use the Recalculate Job Size function outlined below after changing Assessment details. |
Formula |
The formula used by the Job Evaluation method selected is displayed underneath the records on this tab page.
