Work Area Positions - Qualifications

Summary

At times, certain Qualifications must be held by all employees appointed to a Work Area Position. There are two ways to attach Qualifications to a Work Area Position:

  • Using Position Defaults
  • From the Select Qualification Types window.

Position Defaults
  1. Existing Positions may already have Qualifications attached to them. To save data entry, use an existing Position as a template.
  2. In the Details (i) tab page of the Work Area Position, ensure that the Position field contains the template Position.
  3. From the right-click menu View mode, select Copy Defaults from Position.
  4. Click Yes to the message box.
  5. Select the Qualifications tab page and ensure that the expected Qualifications are associated with the Work Area Position.

Select Qualification Types
  1. In Edit mode, press Insert to reach the Select Qualification Types window.
  2. Tag the relevant Qualifications.
  3. Click OK to return to the Qualifications tab page.
