Summary

Use this tab page to record details of advertisements placed during the recruitment process for a vacancy.

Fields

Complete a separate record for each instance of an advertisement. The fields on this tab page are optional.

Classification:

This field places an advertisement into a user-defined group. For example, you may want to group advertisements for sales-related positions together or advertisements could be grouped according to level in the company hierarchy.

Logo:

Sometimes an organisation has a range of logos used in publication. Use this field to select the logo, if any, used in conjunction with an advertisement.

Publication:

This field records the publication that this instance of an advertisement is placed with. For example, 'The Post' or perhaps, the company newsletter.

Media:

This is the method of advertising. For example, 'Employment Agency Website', 'Internally advertised' or 'Newspaper'.

Company rep:

The contact person within the company.

Insertion date:

The date the advertisement will run.

Placed date:

The date the advertisement was placed.

Confirmed date:

The date the advertisement was confirmed.

Reference:

This is the reference number for this advertisement. This could be either an internal or external reference number.

Columns:

For larger advertisements, the number of columns used.

Agency rep:

The contact person at an agency if used for this advertisement.

Special requests:

For short notes about this advertisement. Use the Notes and Documents tab pages to attach further details.
