Summary

Base Components are the elements that make up a remuneration package. For example:

• Salary
• Superannuation
• Medical Insurance.

Procedure

Base Components are attached to a Position Default using the Details tab of the Position Default Components form. Click an additional Add or Edit to reach this form.

Cashing up Base Components

Base Components may be 'cashed up' so that employees receive the equivalent value in cash.

FBT

Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) must be paid on some components of a remuneration package.
