Summary

Use Position Defaults as a template for remuneration packages. PayGlobal takes the information entered in the Base Components and Vehicles tab pages to calculate the following values which are displayed on this tab page:

• Mid range remuneration
• Non-cash
• Total remuneration
• On-costs
• FBT
• Total employment cost

What does this tab page do?

PayGlobal:

1. Looks at the total components and vehicles of each Position Default
2. Calculates the on-cost, FBT and non-cash values
3. Takes the mid range remuneration from the appropriate Work Area Position
4. Calculates the Total Remuneration:

   Remuneration mid + non-cash

5. Calculates the Total Employment Cost:

   Total Remuneration + On-costs + FBT

Making changes to Position Defaults

You may need to revise Position Defaults from time to time. There are two run commands to use in these circumstances:

• Recalculate Position Defaults - recalculates the values above for all Position Defaults in line with the new settings but does not recalculate employee packages
• Recalculate Employee Packages - recalculates employee packages
