Summary

The Resources tab contains Course Course Resources makeup records. Course resources are equipment and materials used in this course, such as a whiteboard, a projector and a training room.

Copy Default Resources

To create default Course Course Resources records:

  1. Create a Courses record and click Save.
  2. Right-click the Details (i) tab page and click Copy Defaults.

    A Confirm message appears: "Do you wish to remove existing resources from this course?"

  3. Click Yes.
  4. PayGlobal copies across makeup records from the Course Types - Resources tab.

Add Resources Manually

To manually add a Course Course Resources record:

  1. On the Course Types | Resources tab, click Edit.
  2. Press Insert.
  3. Enter values on the Add Course Course Resources form.
  4. Click Save + Close.

Resource Conflict Check

When you allocate resources to a course, PayGlobal checks for conflicts. For example, if you allocate more whiteboards to a course than the organisation has available, then the following type of message appears:

"Resource [Code]: Whiteboard and Pens has 3 units allocated, but there are only 2 available."

In this example, you could have:

  • allocated more whiteboards to this course than the organisation possesses

    - or -

  • already allocated whiteboards to other courses on the same day.

However, you can still allocate the whiteboards by clicking OK because you could hire one for the course.
