Training Plans - Details

Summary

Training plans allow you to specify development activities for individual employees. The Details tab contains basic information about the training plan.

Fields
Category:

Training plan category that the training plan is in.

Employee:

Employee for whom the training plan was created.

Plan status:

In PayGlobal versions before 1.94RC11 and 1.93NEARC27, this field was labelled "Status".

  • Open

    Default option when you create a training plan.

  • Closed

    Select this option after the trainee completes the training plan to provisionally credit the trainee with the qualifications and competencies associated with the plan.

Process status:

New field in PayGlobal 1.94RC11, 1.93NEARC27 and later versions.

  • Pending

    Training plan is in progress, but has yet to be submitted for approval (default option).

  • Proposed

    Training plan has been submitted and is awaiting approval.

  • Approved

    Training plan has been approved.

Create Nominations

After you create a training plan, you can create a nomination for the trainee from their training plan. Nominations allow you to schedule a trainee to attend a course; they 'hold' people until courses are available. When you create nominations from an employee's training plan, PayGlobal creates Nominations records:
