Outstanding unit payout rate/rule:

PayGlobal uses this rate or rule to pay out outstanding long service leave. Long service leave is usually paid out at standard rates.

Important: The rate or rule that you select must correspond with the Values tab | Type of unit field.

Accrued unit payout rate/rule:

PayGlobal uses this rate or rule to pay out accrued long service leave. Long service leave is usually paid out at standard rates.

Important: The rate or rule that you select must correspond with the Values tab | Type of unit field.

Keep details on termination:

This Yes/No field determines whether PayGlobal keeps or clears the employee's long service leave details after they are terminated.

Calculate average hours per week:

This Yes/No field determines whether PayGlobal calculates the average hours per week for the previous year for each employee with a long service leave transaction when you close a pay.

Over (years):

Active when Calculate average hours per week = "Yes". When you zero the Average hours per week field on the employee's Long Service tab, PayGlobal uses the Over (years) value to recalculate the Average hours per week value. You can enter positive integers only and the default value is 1.

Current period length (years):

Employees must accrue long service leave for this number of years before it becomes outstanding leave.

Next Table on cycle end (optional):

If you select a long service leave table in this field, then PayGlobal will roll attached employees onto this table at the end of the long service leave cycle.
If you leave this field blank the table will roll onto itself at the end of the cycle. PayGlobal will carry over any accrued values to outstanding leave.
