Payroll | Leave Setup | Sick Leave Tables | Values tab
Summary |
These examples show how PayGlobal accrues employee sick leave when the Sick Leave | Values tab | Accrual method = "Std" and the Accrue entitlement weekly field is either "Yes" or "No". |
Example |
You need to set up sick leave tables for full-time employees based on the following values:
|
Accrue entitlement weekly = "Yes" |
When Accrue entitlement weekly = "Yes", Total accrued is calculated each pay period. Sick Leave Table - 6 months
Each week, PayGlobal uses these six-month table values in the standard unit accrual method calculation.
|
Accrue entitlement weekly = "No" |
When the Accrue entitlement weekly = "No", Total accrued is calculated at the beginning of the new sick leave cycle and it uses the accrual rate of the new table. Sick Leave Table - 6 months
Entitlement (units) value for the six-month table is zero because entitlement is calculated at the beginning of the next sick leave table.
When this table rolls over, PayGlobal uses the following values to calculate the employee's Total accrued:
Sick Leave Table - 12 months
Next table on cycle end is blank, so this table will roll on to itself after each twelve-month sick leave cycle. When this table rolls over, PayGlobal uses the following values to calculate the employee's Total accrued:
