Create a PayGlobal SQL Database - Install Wizard

Summary

After you have created a new PayGlobal SQL database, the standard Install Wizard opens to guide you through initialising the database with standard allowances and deductions.

A progress bar is displayed as the tables are created in the new database.

Before you start
  • Confirm that a PayGlobal supported version Microsoft SQL Server is installed on the local machine, or on the Network.
  • All logins to the SQL Server machine must be secure and accounted for.

Procedure
  1. Untag all the defaults, as you will be synchronising your existing tables into the database. If you leave them ticked, default tables will be created which will be over-written by the synchronisation.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Untag 'Add Weekly Pay Period'
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Finish on the screen "All defaults have been selected. Click on finish to create defaults". This message will appear regardless of whether you have selected any defaults.
  6. Click OK on the information screen.
  7. View the Audit log to confirm "Company was created successfully".
  8. The Wizard exits and you are required to login to manually complete the set up of the database.

    Login as HRSETUP with the password NOTSET.
