Summary

The Details (i) tab page allows you to associate a reason with an allowance for use in Self-Service leave requests.

Fields
Payroll Allowance:

Use this field to associate a Reasons record with an Allowances record.

  • When an employee makes a leave request on the Self-Service website, they must select a reason for the leave. The leave request form displays only reasons associated with a payroll allowance.
  • A leave request becomes a leave transaction only after Payroll approve and process it in Leave Request View. The resulting leave transaction uses the allowance defined in the Reasons record.
Self-Service leave calendar colour:

This display-only field shows the colour that is used to display this leave reason on the Calendar and Team Calendar pages in the Self-Service. This value is maintained through the Self-Service Administration site.
