Summary

A Budget Centre Series describes a specific type of budget information. Some examples of Budget Centre Series are P&L Sales, Sales Budget, POS $ Last Year, Fixed Costs.

The records created as Budget Centre Series are used by SpreadSheets to display associated values. Series can be percentages, dollar values or number of hours. The Budget Centre Series codes must match the codes used by the SpreadSheet as the associated data is displayed on the SpreadSheet.

Each Budget Centre Series has a specific frequency (daily, timeband, yearly etc) that dictate the time frame that the details belong to.

You can also set a Series so data belonging to a certain date range is locked down and cannot be changed.

Where are Series used?

Users with SpreadSheet Operator rights can see which Budget Centre Series are used in each SpreadSheet in the Control tab.

If you are having trouble importing data into the SpreadSheet, it may be that the Budget Centre Series code that PayGlobal is trying to import data through to is incorrect or missing.

Another way to see if any Budget Centre Series codes are missing, is to use the Messages functionality - from the main menu, select View and then tick Messages. A sidebar appears with troubleshooting messages.
