Summary |
This calculation method entitles an employee to a rate that differs from the standard rate for a capped number of hours. It calculates the difference in rates for the hours in an allowance group. Standard Rate - Difference * Hours An allowance group code must be entered for Personalised Difference calculations. Personalised difference also works when there is more than one allowance in an allowance group. |
Allowance Group Settings |
The Personalised difference calculation method only applies for allowances within an Allowance Group whose Type is set to 'Quantity' or 'Equivalent'. For example, if the standard rate is $10 for a maximum of 40 hours, the allowance created for Personalised Difference would have a Quantity of '40' and a Rate amount of '10'. If an allowance in the allowance group has 45 hours at $9.50, the Personalised Difference calculation would be: 40 hours * 0.5 = $20.00 |
