Awards use payroll rules to automate processes for employee payments.

These settings have been created by your PayGlobal Consultant and should not be altered.

Fields
Payroll Rule:

The payroll rule that is applied for employees on this award.

Evaluate rule before:

Controls when the payroll rule is processed. For a full list of evaluation ranks and when to use them, see Payroll Rule Evaluation Ranks.

Rank:

PayGlobal uses a numeric, then alpha ordering system to apply rules. It uses the value in this field to determine when, in the context of all rules set for an award, a particular rule should be applied. For example, a rule with rank '1A' is applied before rank 'A'.

Unranked rules are processed before ranked rules.
