Summary

A group of allowance rules may be used to create an award.

For example, award employees are entitled to receive ordinary time for the first 40 hours of work in a week. Additional hours receive overtime payment. After working an additional ten hours, employees are entitled to receive meal money.

This tab page is used primarily for T&A purposes. It works in conjunction with the rules tab page.

Working with the rules tab page

Awards Allowance Rules rank award rules so that they are processed in a particular order. When PayGlobal processes a rule containing an Awards Allowance Action Clause, it looks at the Awards Allowance Rules tab (this tab page) to determine the order in which to apply the allowance rules.
