Fields

The fields on this tab page are optional.

Compare to start:

  • No

For service calculations, PayGlobal compares the employee's start date with the period end date.

Age from:

The age that an employee must reach before the override transaction takes effect. For example, '20'. PayGlobal uses the Date of Birth in the Personal (i) tab page of the employee record to calculate eligibility.

Age to:

The age of an employee before the deduction is discontinued.

Service from:

The number of years of service that an employee must reach before the override settings take effect.

Service to:

Rank:

Specify the order in which this deduction will be processed, in relation to other deductions entered. PayGlobal uses the convention of numeric ranking before alpha. Therefore '1A' comes before 'A1'. Unranked deductions come after ranked deductions.

Note: Unranked deductions are always processed after all ranked deductions.

Apprentice:

Select Yes if the deduction only applies to employees who are apprentices. Employees are flagged as apprentices on the Contract tab of an employee record.

Hours from:

The number of hours that an apprentice must reach before the deduction takes effect.
