You can use a grid report to quickly report from one table, but you cannot report from multiple tables in the same report. PayGlobal Report Designer allows you to report from multiple tables. Report Designer enables you to select any combination of PayGlobal data, design a specific report for that data, and then add a report definition for other users to access and run the report. |
Report Designer 7 |
This version contains Report Designer 7 functionality. You can use Report Designer 7 to maintain legacy reports created in previous versions. You can also create or edit new reports in Report Designer 7. A report's version number indicates whether it is a legacy report or a new report. In the Report Groups Reports grid, customise columns to display Report Definition | Report version. |
Tab Pages |
The Report Designer has three main tab pages: Data: Use to query the data that you want to report on. You should always start on the Data tab to define the data before you design the report. Calc: Use this tab for adding calculations to variables, and coding other outcomes such as concatenated (joint) and uppercase fields. Design: This tab is where you will spend the most time, creating how the report looks and works, and adding the data fields defined on the Data tab. |
