Summary

This large report displays all PayGlobal tables and fields that are used in the PayGlobal Report Designer.

Run this report when you:

  • Want to create a designer report
  • Need information about a given field, such as data type or length.

Report columns
Field Name:

The actual name of the field as it appears in the Report Designer when you create a data query.

Description:

The field label that appears in PayGlobal.

Data Type:
  • Character - A string of ASCII characters.
  • Integer - A whole number, such as 4, 30 or 56.
  • Date - A date in the format defined in Company Settings, such as 21/05/2009.
  • Double - A decimal number, such as 1.21 or 2.9232.
  • Autoinc - A system-generated ID number.
  • Logical - A boolean value such as Yes/No or True/False.
  • Memo - A free-text field, such as the Notes tab of most entities.
Size:

Maximum number of characters in the field.

Decimals:

Maximum number of digits after the decimal point.

Parent Table:

If a field is based on information contained in another table, then that table name is displayed in this column.
