Summary

PayGlobal development uses this diagnostic tool to troubleshoot operations that are abnormally slow.

Important: This tool was designed for ADS databases. For Microsoft SQL Server, we recommend using SQL’s Profiler utility available in SQL Enterprise Manager. Discuss this with your IT department or contact PayGlobal Customer Support for further information.

Procedure for ADS databases

1. Double-click Database Profiler to see the following Information box:

   "A database profiling auditlog has been created. Return to this action to view the results"

2. Click OK.
3. Complete the procedures, which you wish to monitor.
4. Double-click Database Profiler again.
5. Click Yes to view the audit log.

   The audit log shows a breakdown of operations and the time in milliseconds that it has taken for each operation to be completed.
