Check Report SQL

Summary

Run the Check Report SQL command after you upgrade PayGlobal.

This procedure checks that all reports are using valid SQL structures and that they do not have any syntax errors.

Before you start

Use the Import Reports command in the Reports folder to import the report catalogue for the upgraded version of PayGlobal. After you import the reports, run the Update Report Definitions Table command.

Procedure
  1. Double-click the Check Report SQL command.

    A Confirm message appears.

  2. Click Yes to skip testing of standard reports.

    Note: You do not usually need to test standard reports. If you imported the correct reports for this version, your standard reports will be valid.

  3. Click Yes to view the log.
    • If the log contains error messages, then print the log to paper or to file, save and exit the log, and then contact Customer Support for further advice.
    • If the log does not contain any error messages, then press Esc to exit the log.
